Great Outfit Ideas for Leggings: for Any Occasion

So many new fashion trends have appeared recently that will make you want to re-vamp your entire wardrobe. A few clothing items have stood the test of time and can be worn into 2022 and beyond.

One of these items is leggings. Leggings have been a wardrobe staple for years now, and if you’re like me, you probably have a million pairs, they are essential for every day- lounging outfits, but they have recently become a staple for extravagant outfits too.

Tips for Leggings Styles:

You should remember a few important things when picking leggings to wear. Firstly, plain black leggings you buy in multiples can be paired with other pieces to create a stylish look. If you aren’t a fan of long leggings, you can also opt for cropped leggings! If you want to brighten up your outfits, colorful leggings and prints are also fun and trendy options too. And flared leggings (also known as yoga pants) are back in style- you’ve probably seen them all over TikTok right now.

Basic Black Leggings

When you’re in a hurry or when you need something simple to go to the store or send a message, this outfit is my favorite. If you want to be cute yet fashionable while being very comfortable in leggings, you can pair it with an oversized tee, a sweater or a super cute and cozy cardigan on the go.

Cropped Leggings

Another one of my favorite styles is a cropped legging. This is great if you want a more sporty look or like wearing leggings to work out at the gym. A cute workout-style top or hoodie will complement this outfit for a fun and sporty look. This outfit goes great with a pair of comfy sneakers.

Colourful Leggings 

A trendy way to change up your leggings for more casual ones is to wear a pop of colour. A graphic tee can help you match coloured leggings with your outfits as well. Graphic tees are super popular right now, so an oversized graphic tee is an excellent choice for pairing with leggings. You can complete the look with a cute baseball cap (these are also super popular right now)!

The bootcut or flared legging (also known as yoga pants) is the new fashion trend for leggings, this year. This style of leggings was a success in the past and is returning as the new go-to style for many 2021 looks. I love it because it’s perfect for lounging, but you can also make it a more sophisticated ensemble with just the right accessories.
